Hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey

My name is Wihl Meinard P. Lin. Everyone else calls me "Mei" or "Nard"
This blog would probably mostly be about me or my thoughts or whatever floats my boat.
The reason why I made this blog is for me to able to share my thoughts to people here on the world wide web. Also, it has occured to me that this thing called "blog" could be like an online diary but with abit more of formality.

All my life I’ve been looked down upon by most people. Only a few people believed and saw my potential. Even I myself, back then, didn’t believe in myself. As I grew up, I learned not to care much about how people thought and felt about who I am then I realized, the only thing that mattered was how the people I care about most and as well as God felt about me. Other people thought I’m just some chubby kid who sits at the back of the class, eats all day, sleep all night, but none of these are true. I wanted to change how they thought about me, I wanted to achieve. And achieve I did, with every event that the school held, or even just a small activity in class, I didn’t just try, but I did my best so that I may be able to be one of the winners of the activity.

There is this one thing I did that made me proud of myself. It was back when I was still in the 3rd year of high school. Our school programmed a medical mission which didn’t really require us students to join.  I volunteered myself to join so that I may be able to help others also as well as the school. I woke up early that day so that I could go to the destination early. No time was to be wasted that day; many people were in need of help. After sanitizing myself, I immediately rushed to the doctors and the dentists so that I could ask what task is needed is to be done. I kept the organization of the lines; I also helped with the directions because some of the people didn’t know where to go. Everyone was busy doing something; no one was goofing off that time. At last, the mission, to be able help even in the smallest ways, has been accomplished. During our lunch, we talked about how we felt and if we learned anything from this great experience.

We all have different experiences that change our lives. This experience of mine made me realize that every moment in our life is very important and that we should use our time wisely and the opportunities that God gives us to be able to help others should not be wasted. Though I may have experienced a lot of hardship in life, I still feel that I have an obligation to help others. I’m not blaming God for what I have experience already in my life, I thank Him for it because it made me stronger and who I am today. I’m not lucky, but rather I am blessed by God. He has truly been with me through all the ups and downs in life. He has shown His unconditional love for me so much more than I deserve.
